Character Setup

A character is the AI persona Drip Code generates content for. Every image and video is rendered to look like your character wearing the scraped outfits, so the look stays consistent across hundreds of posts.

What is a character?

Think of a character as a recurring AI model with a fixed identity — face, build, vibe, home location, and color grade. Drip Code keeps that identity locked while only the outfit and setting change from post to post.

Creating your first character

  1. Go to Dashboard → Characters → Create Character.
  2. Enter a name, a short description, and the aesthetic style.
  3. Save. Your character is now selectable as the active persona for the pipeline.

Character counts are limited by plan:

Character settings

  • Name & description — who the character is.
  • Aesthetic style — e.g. “elevated streetwear” or “minimalist luxury.” This steers caption tone and the generated look.
  • Active / inactive toggle — only active characters run through the pipeline.

Adding Instagram profiles to scrape

Outfits come from real Instagram profiles you choose as inspiration. In the scraper settings, add the handles you want Drip Code to pull looks from.

  • Best practice: 3–5 profiles per character. Enough variety without diluting the aesthetic.
  • What works best: public profiles that post clear, full-outfit photos in a consistent style that matches your character.
  • Private profiles can’t be scraped — make sure each one is public.

Character limits

When you hit your plan’s character limit, the Create Character button is disabled until you remove a character or upgrade. See Billing & Plans for limits and how to upgrade.
